Día de los Muertos

Today we celebrated Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in class.  We talked about the traditions of the day and where the celebration came from.  (Ask your students if they learned anything.)

We also talked about ofrendas, listened to mariachi music and ate pan de muerto (bread of the dead) as we colored our skulls.

The students also learned a new song IN SPANISH.  Have them sing it to you.
